Twiga Campsite
Located in the colorful market village of Mto wa Mbu, close to the entrance gate of Lake Manyara National Park and nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment.
From Arusha, it is only a short one-and-a-half hours' drive on an excellent tarmac road to Twiga Campsite.
Haven Nature Premium Campsite
Heaven Nature is a Premium campsite, which serves both Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. This campsite has their own tents, which are huge (you can stand up inside) and have real beds (with sheets and everything) as well as modern toilet and shower facilities.
We are currently offering a free upgrade from Twiga/Zion campsite to Heaven Nature, while touring these two National Parks, at no extra cost!
Twiga Lodge

Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp
Lake Manyara Wildlife Camp is able to offer the most luxurious safari accommodations while remaining true to the natural element of the safari experience. This camp comprises of ten luxurious canvas tented lodgings and sixteen self-contained cottages, all with private balconies overlooking the real Africa, majestic, unfiltered and unadorned. Their Honeymoon suite is particularly impressive, with two private viewing decks, Jacuzzi bathtub and King Size bed with rich furnishings including luxury bathrobes.
The Bush Dinner experience is not to be missed, as special performers will join you at the dining site to showcase some real Tanzanian culture. The camp also offers night drives upon request, enabling you to view Lake Manyara's diverse nightlife.
Their renowned restaurant caters to all tastes, serving up a delicious variety of Barbeque, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Continental dishes until from 7am to 11pm. All of their bedrooms include large beds, en-suite bathrooms, private balconies or viewing decks, electricity during fixed generator hours, luggage storage space as well as an infinity swimming pool.
The full-service sports bar is open until midnight and offers a range of alcoholic beverages, our upstairs lounge houses our large flat screen television for your late night enjoyment and to stay caught up on your favorite sporting event during your vacation. All room reservations include continental breakfast from 6 to 10 am.
Serena Lake Manyara Lodge
Standing high on the edge of a towering terracotta escarpment with panoramic views over the glittering alkaline waters of Lake Manyara, Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge offers a unique blend of tranquillity, wildlife discovery, and ornithological richness. The unprecedented range of high-adventure sports, meanwhile, include mountain biking, canoeing and forest walks, while cultural choices include tours of the neighbouring villages and dance displays by the local Iraqw and sukuma people.
Grouped around a central 'vanishing horizon' pool, this highly unusual lodge features a simple timbered reception area, built in traditional African style, which is accessed via a bridge over a small stream. Beyond reception, lies the central dining room, bar and veranda, below which lies the pool. Perched on the very edge of the cliffs, with stunning views over the lake is the pool bar and observation point. Dotted around the grounds, all with views over the lake, are a series of circular two-storey 'rondavels', which house the rooms.
Designed to reflect the brilliance of Lake Manyara's unique birdlife, the architectural motif melds swooping avian curves with the gentle concentric patterns of traditional Maasai 'Bomas' , while the vibrantly coloured wall frescoes depict the colourful intricacy of bird migratory patterns.
The Lodge is in Mto wa Mbu, Northern Tanzania, 130 kilometres from Arusha. Transfers by road from Arusha take approximately 2 hours.
